국내 재즈 그룹으로서 뛰어난 음반 판매 성과를 기록하며 한국을 대표하는 재즈 트리오로 자리매김한 젠틀레인은, 2015년 9월 데뷔 10주년을 맞아 다섯 번째 정규 앨범 Home을 발표했다.
이전 네 장의 앨범을 통해 우아한 멜로디 전개, 다채로운 편곡 기법, 서정적인 앙상블 사운드, 그리고 세련된 연주를 선보여온 젠틀레인은, 이번 Home에서도 그들만의 ‘젠틀레인 스타일’을 확고히 이어간다. 기존의 음악적 언어와 사운드를 유지하면서도 새로운 편곡과 보다 폭넓은 리듬 표현을 통해 한층 확장된 음악 세계를 제시한다.
총 9곡이 수록된 이번 앨범에는 멤버들의 자작곡 7곡과 함께, “The Chopsticks March”, “Danny Boy”를 젠틀레인 스타일로 재해석한 2곡이 포함되어 있다.

Having achieved outstanding album sales as a Korean jazz group and established themselves as one of the country’s representative jazz trios, Gentle Rain released their fifth full-length album, Home, in September 2015, marking the 10th anniversary of their debut.
Known for their elegant melodic development, diverse arranging techniques, lyrical ensemble sound, and refined performances across their previous four albums, Gentle Rain continues to define their signature “Gentle Rain style” in Home. While maintaining their distinctive sound and musical language, the trio expands their artistry further with new arrangements and a broader range of rhythmic expressions, presenting a more evolved musical direction.
The album features a total of nine tracks, including seven original compositions by the trio members, along with two reinterpretations arranged in the Gentle Rain style, including “The Chopsticks March” and “Danny Boy.”

韓国のジャズグループとして優れたアルバムセールスを記録し、国内を代表するジャズトリオとして確固たる地位を築いたジェントル・レインは、デビュー10周年を迎えた2015年9月に、5作目のフルアルバム『Home』をリリースした。
これまでの4作品を通じて、優雅なメロディ展開、多彩なアレンジ、叙情的なアンサンブルサウンド、そして洗練された演奏で高く評価されてきた彼らは、本作『Home』においても“ジェントル・レイン・スタイル”を体現している。独自のサウンドと音楽的言語を維持しながら、新たなアレンジとより幅広いリズム表現を取り入れることで、さらなる音楽的進化を提示している。
全9曲を収録した本作には、メンバーによるオリジナル楽曲7曲に加え、「The Chopsticks March」と「Danny Boy」をジェントル・レイン流に再解釈した2曲が収められている。
