지미 맥휴의 「I’m In The Mood For Love」, 프랭크 처칠의 「Someday My Prince Will Come」과 같은 명곡들을 비롯해, 피아니스트 카즈미 타테이시가 직접 작곡한 밝고 경쾌한 스윙곡 「Tokyo & Seoul Swing」까지 총 11곡이 수록되어 있다.

Widely loved in Korea for their albums and concerts featuring jazz arrangements of Studio Ghibli animation music, Kazumi Tateishi Trio returns with a new studio album after a five-year hiatus. This album reinterprets famous jazz standards through the trio’s uniquely warm and distinctive arrangements and performances. The album features 11 tracks, including timeless classics such as Jimmy McHugh’s “I’m In The Mood For Love” and Frank Churchill’s “Someday My Prince Will Come,” alongside the bright and cheerful swing tune “Tokyo & Seoul Swing,” composed by pianist Kazumi Tateishi himself.

The album’s greatest charm lies in the delightful balance of lively melodies, bouncing rhythms, and warm musical textures. スタジオジブリ作品の楽曲をジャズアレンジしたアルバムや公演で韓国でも高い人気を誇るカズミ・タテイシ・トリオが、約5年ぶりに新作スタジオアルバムを発表した。本作では、著名なジャズスタンダードをトリオならではの温かく個性的なアレンジと演奏で再解釈している。
ジミー・マクヒューの「I’m In The Mood For Love」、フランク・チャーチルの「Someday My Prince Will Come」といった名曲に加え、ピアニストであるカズミ・タテイシ自身が作曲した明るく軽快なスウィングナンバー「Tokyo & Seoul Swing」を含む全11曲を収録。

軽やかなメロディと弾むリズム、そして温もりのあるサウンドが絶妙に調和している点が本作最大の魅力である。カズミ・タテイシの優れたアレンジ力と音楽的解釈、トリオの豊かなアンサンブルと心温まる表現が相まって、あらゆる世代のリスナーが心地よく楽しめる一枚に仕上がっている。
